Ping G440 MAX High Launch Driver
The G440 driver family—featuring the MAX, LST, and SFT models—sets a new standard for performance, combining advanced engineering with PING’s hallmark forgiveness. Each driver is optimized for increased ball speed, thanks to a thinner, shallower face and PING’s deepest center of gravity (CG) ever in a driver.
Designed to match diverse player profiles, each model offers a uniquely engineered head shape to deliver ideal launch conditions for various swing types. With a total system weight reduced by 10 grams and a slightly longer standard shaft (+¼”), the G440 drivers are built to help golfers achieve faster swings, higher launches, and greater distance. The drivers also deliver a smooth, slightly muted sound for a premium playing experience.

- G440 MAX: Engineered for maximum forgiveness, the G440 MAX is ideal for a wide range of golfers. Available in 9°, 10.5°, and 12° lofts, it features a three-position adjustable back weight, making it highly versatile and easy to fine-tune for optimal performance.
- G440 LST (Low Spin): Perfect for players with faster swing speeds, the G440 LST delivers reduced spin and enhanced control. Offered in 9° and 10.5° lofts, this model also includes a three-position back weight to fine-tune ball flight for precision and distance.
- G440 SFT (Straight Flight): Tailored for golfers who need slice-correction, the G440 SFT features a two-position adjustable 23-gram back weight (Draw and Draw+). Available in 9° and 10.5° lofts, it promotes straighter ball flights to improve accuracy and confidence off the tee.

Free-Hosel Technology
Weight removed from a section of the hosel is re-allocated to help push mass lower to create PING’s deepest centre of gravity in a driver to date, aligning it closer to the force line for faster ball speed, optimal spin and higher launch for longer and straighter drives.
Hotter, Thinner Face
A lower face height allows us to make the face both thinner and hotter for more ball speed and consistency across the clubface, including the high heel region.
Lighter Overall, Longer Shaft Length
The total system weight is reduced by 10 grams and the standard length of our proprietary ALTA CB Blue shaft is 46″ (1/4″ longer than the previous model) to help golfers swing faster for more speed while maintaining a tight dispersion pattern.
CarbonFly Wrap Crown
Common to all three models (MAX, LST, SFT), the CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is re-allocated to help lower the CG, ensure forgiveness and contribute to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact.
Heavier 3-Position Adjustable Back Weight
A 29-gram back weight in the MAX and LST models ensures forgiveness and can be adjusted into draw, fade or neutral position to influence shot shape and trajectory.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in ball flight for the best results.
