Ping G430 Max 10K Driver

The G430 MAX 10K is PING’s straightest and highest MOI driver to date, eclipsing the 10,000 g-cm2 combined moment of inertia threshold first surpassed by the G400 MAX five years earlier. Three main visible technologies and differences distinguish the G430 MAX 10K: A fixed back weight, a larger head profile, and a Carbonfly Wrap on the crown.

The fixed back weight allows for the record-setting MOI as it drives mass down and back to increase forgiveness and optimize the center of gravity position, lowering spin and ensuring ball speed preservation across the clubface for added distance. The heavier backweight (28g) is in part achieved by weight savings of 5g from the carbon crown (13g fully installed) to create a powerful combination of accuracy and distance to meet the performance needs of all golfers — from tour professionals to everyday golfers.

PING’s biggest head profile to date maximizes the USGA-allowable heel-toe and front-back dimensions while staying within the 460cc volume limit. This eye-pleasing shape helps square the golfer to the target and inspires the confidence to hit longer, straighter tee shots.

Optimised T9S+ Forged Face

A shallower, thinner, variable-thickness face and the transition design all play a balanced role in saving weight from the face while creating more deflection to generate faster ball speed for our biggest distance gains to date.

Most Forgiveness

To optimise ball flight and maximise distance while retaining the highest MOI in PING’s history, a 25-gram, high-density tungsten backweight can be moved to position the CG for delivering ±8 yards change between the Draw, Neutral and Fade setting.

Spinsistency

New to this driver family is a variable roll radius that creates less loft low on the face to improve performance (especially on thin shots) by reducing spin, resulting in faster speeds that generate consistently longer drives.

Sound Engineering

Research into audio frequencies and harmonics led engineers to create a new internal rib structure and increase the curvature (stiffness) of the crown, skirt and sole, resulting in a desirable sound and impact experience.

Adjust Loft, Lie

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilises a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customise your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

Trajectory Tuning Chart

The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.
