Mizuno MP R-12 Forged Wedges - 2012
The MP R-12 wedges from Mizuno are shaped to progress as a standard wedge up to 52 deg. From here the leading edges become a little more rounded to enable you open up the club face and play a variety of shots. A taper to the hosel area reveals a larger portion of the clubface at address.
On the 56 – 64 degree models the grooves are slightly wider and shallower to to help with traction on the shorter strikes, The 50 – 54 degree models uses a narrower deeper groove which aid the fuller golf strike.
The MP R-12 wedge is made from a Grain Flow Forged Construction for ultimate feel and Quad Cut Grooves give great spin and control.
A great wedge for feel, control and can be custom fit to match your existing Mizuno irons- Loft specific sole design - C-Grind sole for versatility from 54 degrees upwards.
- QUAD CUT Groove - Maximises 4 dimensions within new R&A / USGA guidelines
- Loft specific grooves - Wider shallow grooves on high lofts, deep narrow grooves on lower lofts.
- CNC Milled face - Added traction for shorter pitch shots
- Grain Flow Forged - Heads forged from a single 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel billet for pure feel
- White Satin or Black Nickel - Highly durability or softer wearing black finish.
